I’m Dez Savoy, the soul behind True North Threads Co.—a space born from my search for clarity in the chaos of existence. Rooted in the raw, vibrant energy of New Orleans and Hot Springs, AR, my work lives in the in-between—the places where love and loss, hope and hardship, instinct and analysis collide.

True North Threads Co. isn’t just a creative outlet; it’s a testament to resilience and the threads that connect us all. Through poetry, photography, and mixed media, I piece together what it means to be alive from my lens, holding space for the stories we share and the truths that make us real. 

I write for my nieces  and nephew, so they can know me long after I’m gone. I write for the humans I adore—for those who trust me with their stories, for those who carry pieces of me with them.

This is my journey: to create, to connect, and to remind us all that even in the mess, we matter.
